25 cm DiameterThis plate was hand-built using stoneware clay. Characteristic of the hand-built process, the plate has an irregular, “organic” shape. After the initial bisque firing, several layers of glazes were applied to the surface of the plate, creating a “river-like” pattern where one glaze melded into another. Coloured glaze was then speckled over the plate to add to the randomness of the surface decoration. The plate is food safe, microwaveable and dishwasher safe.
